Dynamic Rarity System
The rarity of items, cards, and characters in this game is dynamic. This means that the rarity of an item will change over time as new items are added to the game.
Initially, the rarity system will be static. This means that all items will have a fixed rarity.
As the game grows, new items will be added every week. This will increase the total number of items in the game, and will also change the rarity of existing items.
Over time, the first items added to the game will become more rare. This is because there will be fewer of them in circulation.
New items will start out as common, but will gradually become more rare as more of them are added to the game.
Example
At the time of writing (August 2023), there are 228 cards in the game. These cards have different rarities, with some being more rare than others. If we add 5 new common cards, we will increase total items on the system by 50 new items, items mean if your card has 10 / 228 in the new week you card will have 10 / 278.
The rarity of a card is determined by a number of factors, including:
The number of cards in the game. The rarer a card is, the fewer of them there will be in circulation.
The way that cards are obtained. Some cards are more difficult to obtain than others, which makes them more rare.
The perceived value of a card. Some cards are more valuable than others, which makes them more rare.
How to view rarity weights
You can view the rarity weights for all cards in the game by going to the Card Statistics page. This page will show you the rarity of each card, as well as the total rarity weight for each rarity.
Conclusion
The dynamic rarity system in this game is designed to create a sense of rarity and collectability. As the game grows, the rarity of items will change, and players will be able to collect rare items that are no longer available.
